Interact is London’s first and only (known) interfaith magazine written by and for young people & produced by young people from a variety of faith and cultural backgrounds. Being a life-style magazine, Interact contains a wide range of articles, from politics and faith to music and interviews.
Uniquely it can also provide a variety of information and explanations about each major faith tradition including personal perspectives and experiences. It is a resource of information, crossing cultural boundaries, and gives a voice to students and young people from all faith backgrounds. The magazine is distributed free to universities, colleges, youth, community and faith groups across London.
The magazine is produced quarterly with an editorial team of at least 8-15 student volunteers, who work together around 8 to 10 weeks writing the main features and articles as well as creating the design and layout. In addition approximately 20 ‘freelance’ volunteers contribute ideas, articles, opinion columns, short stories and poems.
